Do you allow Dogs?

A maximum of two medium well behaved dogs are allowed at 5 Kigbeare Lodge. Dogs must be over 1 year old and are only allowed in the open plan area of the lodge.  We prefer dogs to be left in cages when unattended. Any damage caused as a result of  disobeying the rules must be paid for in full within a week of departure.  

Owners must adhere to The Ashbury Resort rules:
1. Dogs must be kept within the confines of the Owners Lodge and dogs must be kept on a lead when on the roads or common parts at all times.
2. Dog fouling on the roads or common parts must be immediately cleared up by the dog’s owner and placed in the large general bin on the lodge driveway. 
3. Dog owners must ensure their Lodge and Lodge area is kept clear of fouling.
4. Lodge Owners' Guests are permitted to bring dogs on site at the dog owners responsibility. 
5. Dogs are not permitted on the Golf Courses or within the Hotel Buildings / Resort facilities at any time.
6. The Ashbury Resort may take action for the removal of dogs which consistently causes a nuisance by noise, fouling or whatever cause.

What time is check-in / check-out?

The Lodge will be available from 3.00pm on your day of arrival, and must be vacated by 11.00am on your day of departure. On arrival at the resorts, please report to reception to collect your key and lodge access map.

Can we arrive after this time?

If you expect to arrive after 10.00pm on the first day of your stay please let me know and I will see what can be arranged for you to access the lodge. Please note that the resort gates are locked between Midnight and 6am.

Can I use the facilities at both resorts?

You can use all the facilities at both resorts. There is minibus transport between the two sites, this needs to be booked at reception and is subject to availability.

Do I need to bring sports equipment?

The resort provides bats and balls etc (deposit required), but you may wish to bring your own.

Golf notes Bring £1 coins for golf lockers and for golf balls if you plan to use the nets. There is a lockable shed by the lodge for you to store your golf clubs.

Is there a dress code?

We adopt a relaxed attitude to dress code, however smart/casual wear (no sports shorts/vests) is expected after 6.00pm in the dining rooms.

Do I need to bring my own towels?

We provide towels and bed linen in all our accommodation. Swimming towels are in the hall cupboard or available from the hotel reception/spa reception for a £2 hire charge and £5 deposit.

What activities can I pre-book before arrival?

The only things which can be pre-booked are golf tee off times (Pro-Shop 01837 55742) or Spa treatments (01837 657707). All other activities are booked on arrival at the Resorts in the activity sign-up rooms.  We recommend that you book your time slots before arrival.

Do you have free parking?

There is private parking for three cars with electric charge point (separate charge for EV charging) at the Lodge. 

Lost property

Please let me know if you have left anything in the lodge and we will do our best to get it back to you. Charges apply to return lost items.

Smoking & E-Cigarette policy

In line with government legislation smoking is prohibited in our lodge. The Ashbury have provided external shelters to accommodate those who wish to smoke. Please note that we prohibit the use of e-cigarettes in the lodge and all internal areas of the resort.

Breakages and Damages

Our lodge is privately owned and we share it with you like a friend. Breakages and damages happen and as such we have an honesty pot for you to make a donation, please just let us know so that we can replace it.
